Setting Up an Email Account on the iPhone
(this is iPhone OS4 instruction and iPhone 3Gs, 5s is similar setting)


Before setup your iPhone and make sure you have below information
 incoming IMAP server    :    imap.yourdomain.com
 outgoing smtp server       :    smtp.yourdomain.com (request smtp authentication and support special
                                              Port 456 )
 email address                  :    username@yourdomain.com
 password                        :    ************

After finished the setting and remember mapping the Drafts, Sent and Deleted Folder between iPad and our Mail server

iPhone support pop3 and IMAP as incoming mail server, this menu teach user how to config imap server as incoming email for your iPhone

Click Setting Icon


Click Mail Icon setup/modify email box


Click add Account create new email


Choose Other for the IMAP/POP3 email setting


Choose Add Mail account setup the email


Input Account information and click "NEXT"


Click "Continue" if you see below screen



Choose IMAP Server and input incoming mail server and Outgoing Mail Server information
    Incoming Mail Server (for example)
    Host Name : imap.yourdomain.com
    Username : peter@yourdomain.com
    Password : *********

    Outgoing Mail Server
    Host Name : smtp.yourdomain.com (SMTP Server PORT 465)
    Username : peter@yourdomain.com
    Password : *********

Click "Next" and Iphone will Checking the information
If Checking fail, pls click Save Button keep the record and check the setting late

Click Save Icon save the setting and it will go back to eMail Account Menu


Click your email and still need config the email


Click Account Info continue the email setting


SMTP : select and double check the setting
Advanced : select and double check the setting (email folder mapping)

You may also want your iPhone to store your Sent, Drafts, Deleted Messages on the server webmail you can also change this setting in the iPhone advanced settings area.
